This site is the home of Farmers of New Zealand Inc. a new national advocacy organisation representing farmers, small block lifestylers, rural people, and those with the rural community of New Zealand at heart. We have loyal members throughout New Zealand, some in Australia, and one even as far away as Belgium.
We made a decision not to be controlled by bureaucrats in corporate offices in Wellington. This is an organisation run by rural people for the farming and rural community and we intend to stay that way. Our Head Office is located in Dargaville a small rural township close to the City of Whangarei in Northland New Zealand where we can remain close to our roots.
In addition to promoting rural issues to central and local government we are also very active helping members behind the farm gate. We provide active assistance when members find themselves in difficult situations. It could be legal issues, occupation safety and health issues, employment disputes, loss of property rights, animal welfare problems, or simply management advice.
